I woke early to
A solitary morning
Where thoughts untangled
I wandered into the office, first cup of coffee in hand, and clicked on my gmail. Your Haiku popped up. Thank you, Jan. What a perfectly lovely way to start the day.
Thank you, Pam. And you started my day off nicely, too! π
I really like that, Jan. You make me wish I were an early morning person. Maybe I shouldn’t stay up until midnight.
Thanks, Beth. Early morning is my favorite time of day! π
I can tell. I got up at 6:15 today because I was wide awake at 5:30 and got tired of fighting it.
Sunny or cloudy, Every day begins the same. Coffee. News. Email.
That’s exactly how my day begins–after I feed the dogs.
Stretch. Anticipate. Wonder what’s in store today? It is up to me.
I have to remind myself of that sometimes! π
Dear Jan,
I’ve always said that the best way to see a dawn is to stay up for it. Now that’s what I do in my current job.
Nice Haiku by a nicer you.
Aloha,
Doug
Why thank you, Doug! Enjoy some sun, sand and sea for me! π
Aloha, Doug. (I just wanted to say, “Aloha.”) ~ Beth
Aloha Ka Kou, Beth. (Good morning to you, too:)
A Hui Hou,
Thanks, Doug! Nice.
We must write an “aloha” haiku!
