Waiting for Carrots

My writer friend, Jayme Feary is also a photographer, dog and horse behaviorist and all-around adventurer.

Today, he posted this photograph on Facebook and asked his followers to “deduce what was going on” in the photo. I, of course, wrote a haiku.

Jayme's Horses

In the morning mist
they wait for their boy to bring
the day’s first carrot

I love to read your comments, even more, your HAIKU!
