Welcome to Day 6 of National Poetry Month!
Today’s theme is “Love.”
The theme for tomorrow is “flowers.” What will you write?
To enter for a chance to win a copy of my book, Life: Haiku by Haiku, leave a comment with your original haiku (must use the Theme of the Day). Each haiku will qualify for one entry, so enter as many times as you’d like! (NOTE: Shipping address of winners must be within the United States.)

two hands meld to one
like hearts that beat on one stroke
love is glue that binds us close
I love the way your first and last lines tie the haiku together, Claudia!
Where is everyone? Mine aren’t so good but I’m trying…have been by hubby’s surgical bed in hospital…mind counts words here!!!
tympani chest pounds
blood races like raging river
heart attack or love?
I feel your haiku, especially knowing you’re by your husband’s hospital bed. Praying for his recovery. Hope you’re doing well, too, Claudia. (And I love your haiku and appreciate all of them!) ❤

Love is gravity.
Worlds would fall apart without.
Hearts beat together.
