National Poetry Month Contest: Day 12 – Water

Today’s theme is “Water.”

Water may seem soft and fickle, but give it time. It gets where it wants to go, no matter what’s in its way.

water trickles ‘round
and over, ceaseless ‘til
rocks wither away

The theme for tomorrow is “summer.” What will you write?

To enter for a chance to win a copy of my book, Life: Haiku by Haiku, leave a comment with your original haiku (must use the Theme of the Day). Each haiku will qualify for one entry, so enter as many times as you’d like! (NOTE: Shipping address of winners must be within the United States.)

    Polar melt becomes a roar.
    Mother of all soup.

  3. Claudia says:

    Can’t have tea without water!

    Boiling water, tea leaves
    After whirlwind in the cup
    sipping soothing balm

  4. Steve says:

    sun light on water
what is it we cannot see?
    unfathomed brilliance

I love to read your comments, even more, your HAIKU!
