National Poetry Month Day 27: Peek-A-Boo

One of the best things about working from home during this Time of Coronavirus is the walks I’ve taken to the pond. I’ve found myself searching for turtles, whispering “awww” at the baby ducks and geese, watching a Mother Goose perched on her nest for weeks, secretly fearing that the time has passed for her eggs to hatch, and, as in this photo, playing “peek-a-boo” to get the perfect picture to . . . yes . . . inspire a haiku. 🙂

I love to read your comments, even more, your HAIKU!
