National Poetry Month Day 30: Hugs

Is it possible, before this pandemic, I took hugs for granted? I don’t like to think I did, but I certainly never considered there would come I time I couldn’t freely give someone I love a hug.

So,  as we come to the end of National Poetry month, I’ve gladly shared my syllables with you. But I’d trade them all for hugs.

May we all get to hug each other again soon!
