Today marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year — The Year of the Dragon. The dragon symbolizes power, strength and good luck. Sounds like a good year to me!

Here’s my haiku to celebrate the Chinese New Year:
Rabbit passed in
A cold winter, but no fears.
Dragon has arrived.
Power, strength, good luck.
Promises a better year.
Counting on Dragon.
I’m counting on Dragon, too. Be gone, oh hopping Rabbit! 🙂
Be wild, dragon strong
Breathe fire, strike fear, become free
Of expectations
Yes, Pam. May the dragon’s fire burn fear to smithereens . . . clearing a path to freedom.
What will new year bring?
A fire-breathing dragon!
Not a fairy tale.
Dragon year – pretty exciting, huh?
Traditions hold strong.
Dragon versus a rabbit.
So, do you believe?
Hop away, rabbit.
Breathe fire and be strong, dragon.
May we all prosper.
I REALLY like this one! Maybe you’re Dragon Lady, not Spider Woman.
No, I want to be Spider Woman! But here’s another one:
Year of such highs, lows.
Good widdance swilly wabbit.
Scorch his butt, dragon!
Okay, now this one is my favorite. Funny and clever!
